Anchor Papers

The following anchor papers were gathered from Hall County students and can be used by teachers and students. Teachers may choose to analyze them by looking at grade level expectations or at the progression of writing skills across the grade levels. The samples can also be used by letting students analyze strengths and next steps for each story. Two sets are provided – the first chart contains simply the anchor papers, while the second chart has the same stories with commentary added.
